Rusty Redcoat - a children's book about the adventures of a Northumbrian red squirrel - will be on sale in time for Christmas. Written by Ernie Gordon, a passionate amateur naturalist and observer of red squirrels in the wild, the book tells the story of Rusty Redcoat, a baby red squirrel who is separated from his family, and the adventures he has in returning home. Helps children understand the plight of the red squirrel in the 21st century.
Save our Squirrels is managed and delivered on behalf of the Red Alert North England partnership by
